Couples who takes cute photo together are simply cute. (Not kiss la, u know what I mean by cute hor.) hi guys!!!
I'm sooooo lazy when it comes to posting a long one so mostly all were short posts. Only the most inner feelings of me will be posted here because twitter is just too exposed.
So far, life's great... I guessed?? How about you?
I did something daring this holiday by applying a position of a Junior Police Officer. The dream that I always want. I can get the shoes, food, clothes I love with money but this.. No. However, I'm so afraid that i may not be selected. Let me tell you about the interview session.
So I've waited for 4hours to get interviewed. I thought I will be the last because of my name but it's actually females then males. I was the only female in the group to get interviewed at the second floor. so I went in, greeted them. I probably had confident because I went interviewed for others full time job until sian-.- and I've did hours of research to get ready for my interview.
It was a panel interview with three interviewers. The main one looks like some actor and I thought of telling him but like lame... Hahaha! I introduced myself, my family and why I'm fit to be in the SPF. They asked me if my family supports me. I told half of the truth. If I want to be truthful to them, I guessed I won't have that bit of chance to get selected. Why? because of our perceptions and when it comes to family dinner, quarrels always happened.
Yea.. So I just said my mother doesn't agreed to let me join because she thinks it's no life, I'll get shot and die.. (Ya right like I'm in Iraq war) and only guys do this job.(she really meant it all.) So the interviewer said I've to go back home and convince my mother. I feel like telling him, "if you know her, you won't even bother telling her u went for this interview. Because what's in her mind, is set."
They also said to me that being in the SPF will have lesser family time. I wanted to tell them I don't mind and I don't get home sick. probably sad because I want to snuggle in my cozy bed.
My thoughts were running quickly. Like
"What should I reply?" "What if I told them what I really feel, they probably will have a bad impression of what I think and I have to explain so much so much about my family background.."
The next reason I guessed will be my age. The policeman who interviewed me talks about my family and I again. I don't know what to reply to them but I know I've to give a immediate reply. So I said, "if I want to so something, I should fulfill my dream right." I didn't know I had that courage to speak what's on my mind and giving an indirectly answer that family don't really matter to me. But on the other hand, I was like "OMG.. What did I just say to them!"
The last reason for me to get disqualified will be my qualifications.. Firstly, I'm not in any govt polytechnics so they only take my next top qualification which is my "O" Levels. I failed my maths... means I only actually passed 4 subjects (not including CLB). *faint*
But you know what?
I don't mind the bitterness of this job. I don't mind getting the worst duty or being in the lowest rank even when I went through the police NSbecause I know one day I will be upgraded. I just want to fulfill something that I always want and be proud of something that I'm proud of doing it. Is not about the salary, is not about the disadvantages of being a policewoman but I want to prove to my family that I can do what I always dream of being.
I told one of my friend about being worried not getting into SPF. Yes, I'm brave enough to at least went a step ahead in fulfilling my dream. I've at least tried something and if I didn't make it, I still feel a sense of accomplishment and I do not regret about it.
But what I want is to be able to be in SPF, not just trying and failed.
Some people tried 4 times and didn't even make it. I feel sad for him/her when I read at the forum. Some got in, but end up rejecting their letter of enlistment. I felt pissed like what are they showing off or why do they do this.
Everything is out there, is just not everybody are able to have it.
If I get enlisted, I guess life is really great and it's just the matter of time when it came. & Jesus really did listen to my prayers all these while and the path that he given me is always there.
If I get enlisted, I will score well and do my best to be courageous in every task I'm assigned to.
If only my closed people know what I want and they don't take it as a joke. If only they gave me the support, my interview session will be a success. I know people who thinks I can't make it but tries to say good words. I know some people who really gave me the full support & I'm glad to have you in that toughest moment part of my life.
The next post I'll be posting will mostly likely be the results I'm getting. tolong, amen.
